Black women are the fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs in the US, yet many still face the same barriers they knew in corporate: being ignored, undervalued, and under-served. We're here to change that, walking alongside our clients on their journey to generational wealth with a culturally competent advisor through education, compliance, and advisory support, and extending that same support to the wider community through ongoing nonprofit partnerships.

Meet the Founder

Before Jazmyne Hunter became an Enrolled Agent, she worked at the Colorado Department of Revenue, watching taxpayers get hit with bills for rules they never knew existed. That experience shaped everything about how she built her firm.

She became an Enrolled Agent to change that, earning the authority to represent clients directly before the IRS. Today, as founder of Hunter Virtual Bookkeeping and Tax, she brings that same drive to every client relationship.

Outside the office, she's a mom and a wife, and building a firm with the flexibility to move as fast as a school schedule was never optional. Doing it differently, she believed, meant doing it better.

Humanity First:
Taxpayers make plenty of decisions that don't line up with tax law, and Jazmyne would rather meet those moments with grace and understanding than shame. The goal is always to help clients get back on track.

Cultural Awareness:
Not every accountant considers the cultural lens their clients see the world through. With a minor in ethnic studies, Jazmyne built her own lived experience into how she serves clients, so compassion, respect, and cultural competence show up at every step.

Accessibility:
Most disagreements come down to people wanting to be seen and heard, and taxes are no exception. Clients get their questions answered in time to make the moves that matter.
